Policy and enabling environment for soil health

Working Group

  • Vision

Our vision is to create an enabling environment for soil health through robust policy advocacy efforts that are collaboratively driven by CA4SH members. We aim to influence and shape policies at national, continental, and international levels that support the adoption and scaling of healthy soil practices. Additionally, we build partnerships with other organizations and coalitions to amplify our advocacy efforts and create a unified voice for soil health. Through these strategies, we aim to ensure that policies not only recognize the critical role of soil health in enhancing food security, climate resilience, and biodiversity, but also provide tangible support and resources to farmers on the ground.

  • Objectives

Identify strategic policy opportunities and entry points for soil health.

Advocate for government backing to scale soil health globally through global and national level policy frameworks.

Carve a clear roadmap for action on soil health both within policy frameworks.
