Finance and Investments for Soil Health

Working Group

  • Vision

Our vision is to leverage the power of a global coalition to mobilize investments for research and implementation of healthy soil practices. By engaging with a diverse range of public and private sector investors, we aim to secure funding that supports both our advocacy and on-the-ground efforts. Our strategy focuses on channelling resources directly to farmers and land managers who are on the frontlines of combating soil and land degradation. Additionally, we seek to provide farmer organizations with a larger platform to amplify their voices and ensure they receive the necessary financial support. Through these efforts, we strive to create a sustainable funding ecosystem that promotes equitable and impactful investments in soil health.

  • Objectives

Mobilize and catalyze evidence-based public and private investment in soil health.

Driving alignment of key stakeholders to address investment barriers and the soil health investment gap collectively.

Develop and identify tools and mechanisms to support investments in soil health.

Identify funding opportunities to support both our advocacy and on-the-ground efforts.
