How to Implement

This project applies the practices outlined in this guide:

What have you achieved so far with this solution?

  • Obtain a Biochar Production and Application Certificate from Namibia Organic Association.

  • We trained 17 communal farmers with collaboration of AWDBIOMASSHUB, how to produce biochar and mix with cattle manure for soil amendment.

  • Eco-Friendly product using the by-product of biochar to make Bioenergy like Bio Briquette from Biochar dust or biochar waste.

Why should other soil health projects implement it?

  • Biochar production will create jobs, skills transfer especially for youth and women in rural areas.

  • Using biochar will create healthier soil, water, crops, and humans on a healthier planet.

Have you applied a similar solution in another context?
