No, there is no financial commitment, though there may be opportunities to fund our activities if this is something you are interested in doing.

Membership is open and non-binding; your roles are yours to decide based on capacity and availability. We open our activities for collaboration from our membership base. Members can have their logos displayed on the website, participate in knowledge sharing events and share their flagship initiatives on the website as well as your events and updates. We also have four thematic working groups you and your team are welcome to participate in (Engagement, Finance, Policy, and Soil Monitoring, Implementation and Research).

We do not currently have an initiative TOR, but the TORs of the working groups are available on the Working Group pages.

We are present at most major international dialogues (e.g., UNFCCC, UNCBD, and UNCCD COPs) and are eager to garner support for soil health in advance and beyond. Please share any ideas you have for engagement.

The Coalition of Action 4 Soil Health (CA4SH) grew out of the 2021 United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS). The objective of the Coalition is to scale soil health globally.

The Soil Health Resolution is a set of commitments to enable and scale healthy soil practices to mitigate and adapt to climate change, restore biodiversity, improve water resilience, enhance food and nutrition security, and protect natural and cultural heritage.

For the Coalition of Action 4 Soil Health (CA4SH), 2023 was marked by continual learning and exponential growth, and we are celebrating by launching the inaugural Annual Report. Highlights include a reflection on our roots and growing the Coalition (which now has over 170 multistakeholder members and counting!), zooming in on key engagements, advocating for soil health in the climate agenda, achievements, lessons learned, and a look at what’s to come.
